Veneto Imbruttito was born as a virtual place for sharing content linked to the Veneto region on the Facebook page of the same name. Conceived by Andreas Ronco, the brand has subsequently expanded on Instagram to open its own web portal where a virtual shop was created, entirely dedicated to the theme of the Veneto region through its typical expressions.

ECOMMERCE DEVELOPMENT
The natural evolution of the "Il Veneto Imbruttito" project was to add an e-commerce section to the official website, where it offered various types of products, such as t-shirts, sweatshirts and accessories, linked to the theme of the Veneto region.
Each product was created with the community following the ugly Veneto on social media, which is particularly fond of the typical Venetian terminology, in fact, by analyzing the best discussion trends, the products were born accordingly.
The shop was created on a Wordpress basis with the use of the WooCommerce plugin, a flexible and open-source eCommerce solution. The first step involved the selection of a template that was customized to reflect the image of Veneto Imbruttito, the second step involved optimizing to make the site fast and secure both in navigation and in payments.

SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING DESPITE THE ORGANIC FLOW
The ugly Venetian enjoys a natural reach in terms of views and people reached very high compared to the average, despite this, part of the promotion of the shop is through the paid insertion tools of Facebook and Instagram in a social media marketing strategy that exploits mainly the carousel format for the Facebook feed and the story format for Instagram.
The ads are able to hit the best audience through the Pixel function of Facebook, a tool for collecting statistical data that allows you to measure the effectiveness of advertising by understanding the actions that people perform on the website, which has indicated that the target is not exclusively Veneto.
Furthermore, to entice new customers, discount coupons are generated, which are offered at certain key moments in the purchasing process, in order to generate interest in trying to buy a product based on a special price.
In the coming months we will work on the automation of marketing tools, such as automatic communications in the case of abandoned carts and chatbots.
THE STRENGTH OF AN INFLUENCER
The fame of Veneto Imbruttito was the key to success: through simple organic posts on social networks an immediate visibility of the store was obtained which immediately generated the first sales.
At the opening of the shop there were a small number of products, studied and realized on the data acquired by the social media of the ugly Veneto, during the following months continuous changes were made to improve more and more the purchase process, to improve the products offered and to widen the proposal more and more with new gadgets.
The development of an eCommerce never stops, it needs continuous improvements that are justified by the growing volume of business.
